Welcome! The Friendly Lawyers Association is where we share our tips, tricks and stories!  We are a community of lawyers from the Chicagoland area who are interested in developing friendships with other like-minded lawyers in order to support one another professionally and personally.

Our members are made up of solo practitioners and very small firm attorneys who share the same challenges.  With these limiting criteria, our member base has common experiences and challenges in law practice management.  This group was originally founded in 2007 with monthly meetings to discuss the practice of law and the business of law.

After 10 years of meetings, we organized into a non-profit association dedicated to promote the economic interests of our members, provide resources for each other, and cultivate genuine relationships while having as much fun as we can work into networking!

Make new friends, but keep the old.  One is silver, the other, gold.

Our events are casual and open to any lawyer who wants to be a part of our community and whose personality has a sense of fun and adventure.  Our friendship web extends an invitation to law students who have an interest in our group.  We all have a common goal to develop authentic relationships with other lawyers we can trust and rely on, while having fun along the way!
